Viviana is one of the sweetest and kindest person I’ve have ever met. I had a the privilege of working with her for the last 2 years, and everyday day for those two years, she would come into work smiling and cheerful. Always happy! I remember when she told all of us at work about meeting a boy named Jon, she was so giddy 🙂 Jon and Viviana met at a biblical counseling foundation course. Spending two whole weekends there, it was an intensive course. Jon and Viviana happened to sit next to each other throughout the course, talking everyday, and getting to know each other better. After that, they knew there was something special between them. Fast forward almost a year later, she comes whispering to my desk showing me a little sparkle on her finger. “Ahhh!!” I couldn’t keep quiet 🙂 I was so happy and excited for Viviana! Jon’s proposal was so sweet!! Bending on one knee, he quoted bible verse Hosea 2:19-2:20 – I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion. I will betroth you in faithfulness, and you will acknowledge the Lord – in SPANISH! Viviana is from Colombia, and Jon doesn’t speak fluent Spanish like her. What a sweet and romantic gesture! 🙂
Their wedding was held at her family church, Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church, in Alexandria, VA. Members from the church came to help decorate and prepare for their big day. The evening was sweet, romantic, and better than what they had envisioned. Viviana and Job couldn’t take their smiles off their faces. It was truly a special night for them 🙂 Congratulations to Jon and Viviana! I wish you many years of happiness on your new adventures of husband and wife! 🙂
