I wrapped up my 2015 wedding season 2 weeks ago, and I can’t believe it’s already over! I was 9 weeks pregnant shooting my first wedding of the year in May, and ending with a bang at 34 weeks pregnant with my last wedding of the year just 2 weeks ago. This year has been SO amazing, and I can’t thank my Brides + Grooms enough! Each and every one of you made a lasting impact in my heart.
- Robert + Courtney- I love how a little rain on your wedding day reception didn’t dampen your spirits! Not only your love for one another, but your strong and deep friendship definitely shows your marriage is going to last for years to come. Thank you for having me capture it! 🙂
- Shashi + Michael – Your wedding day was absolutely gorgeous! The cake, the flowers, the venue…all of those details of your day was beautiful. But the most beautiful part was witnessing the little moments you had between you two, like during dinner at your sweetheart table. The whispering, holding hands, the cute little looks, the sneaking of kisses. My heart melted. What a dream it was to be apart of your day 🙂
- Karen + Matt – From the moment we met at Starbucks, I knew we would click! Our snowy engagement session is still one of my favorites to date 🙂 Thank you for being so thoughtful and caring towards me knowing I was caring a little Smith around. You two are the sweetest!
- Jason + Anne – What a sweet couple you two are! Anne, I know I didn’t meet you til a little before the wedding, but the way Jason described his future bride, I knew we would be a great match! The smile on Jason’s face while you walked down the aisle was so moving! Definitely a favorite moment of mine from the day. Thank you so much for making me apart of it!
- Jacob + Samantha – I loved all the personal touches you put into your wedding. From the cake, puzzle pieces, children’s bags, to the music playing at the end of the night. I will never forget the moment you had your first dance…dancing to your song before your family arriving in the room to witness. Just you two. In the moment. Taking it in. I promise it wasn’t the pregnancy hormones that had me tear up! 🙂 Thank you for such a wonderful evening!
- Shannon + Clayton – I’m a little sad that our working relationship is over, but SO happy for you two and your new lives together in Colorado! I wish you didn’t move so I can take more photos of you two in the future, because you’re simply one of the sweetest, kindest people… and your love for one another shows in every image 🙂 I wish you two the very best in your new adventures!
- Khalia + Wilson – Oh Khalia…you are one STUNNING woman with a heart to match, and Wilson is so lucky to call you his wife! 🙂 Not only were you and Wilson such a joy to work with, you family really made me feel so welcome! Thank you to you, Wilson, and both of your families for making me feel like apart of your loving group 🙂
- Viviana + Jon – I’m so happy that we had the chance to work together for 2 years, and even more happy I was able to be apart of your wedding day! Those smiles did NOT leave your faces for the whole evening! I wish you two the best in your new home of South Carolina! I will miss you, V!
I may not have had 20-30 weddings booked like other talented photographers, but I’m so thankful for all of my sweet couples who I’ve had the privilege of working with! To me, it’s not about filling up my weekends with weddings, but about meeting some amazing couples who I adore, and being able to document these special moments. I cherish the time we had working together and the relationships we’ve built. Thank you so much for having me be apart of one of the most important days of your lives! 🙂
