Spring time in Washington, D.C. is one of my favorite places to photograph. When Ashley & Cheyne suggested a DC cherry blossom maternity session, I couldn’t wait to get started! The weather earlier in the week had been so cold and windy, so I was one happy photographer when I arrived to our session and the weather was perfect. Due to it being peak cherry blossom season, we arrived at the Jefferson Memorial early in the morning to avoid the big crowds. I was so happy that it wasn’t as crowded as we anticipated!

Ashley and Cheyne moved here from San Diego not that long ago, and now they are welcoming a baby boy this May! With her pink flowy dress and pregnancy glow, Ashley looked STUNNING! As a result, Cheyne couldn’t keep his eyes of his glowing wife. He even snapped photos of her on his own phone while I grabbed her for some solo shots 🙂
