This is me: an Introduction

To tell you the truth, I’m not much of a writer, or at least I think I’m not. Back in school, English and Writing were my worst subjects. I’m more of a math kind of girl. One correct answer and you’re done, even though there can be several ways to get there. So now that I’ve started this new journey in blogging, I would like to introduce myself and let you in on who I am!

I’m Vanessa, I’m 28 years old, and I’m originally from Austin,TX! I moved from my home state about 3 years ago when my husband had to relocate for his job. I’ve lived in Texas, upstate New York, Colorado, and now Virginia! We’ve been living in Virginia for about a year and a half, but it still feels like yesterday that we made the transition. I come from a big, close family, so only seeing them about once a year gets very hard sometimes. During the week, I work a 9-5 bank job about 30 minutes from home. If you’re in the DMV area, you know all about that rush hour traffic, not pretty! Although photography is not my full time job at the moment, it’s my full time passion. I’m currently working my way to becoming a full time photographer! Let me tell you, it hasn’t been easy striving for this dream of mine, but that’s in a future post 🙂
