When I found out my cousin, Franki, and her boyfriend, Steve, were visiting from Colorado for their Thanksgiving break, I was ecstatic! My husband and I only get to see close family maaaayyybee once a year, so I was so excited to hear they would be here for an entire week! Even though Franki and Steve are going on two years of dating, I never had the privilege of meeting Steve. I’ve always heard great things and seen what’s new in their lives on social media, but never had met in person, until now 🙂

Franki and Steve met when they were kids, and after being friends for so long, they decided their was something really special between them, and oh boy I could there is! After spending time with them during the Thanksgiving break, I could see how a perfect they are together! Best friends, partners, and they’re always making each other smile 🙂 When they asked me if we could have a session in Washington, D.C., of course I couldn’t say no! I’m so happy that these two ended up being my LAST photo session before our little Penelope arrives a few short weeks 🙂 Here are a few favorites from our day at the Jefferson Memorial 🙂
