I had so much fun photographing these two last weekend! I first met Shannon + Clayton back in June, and after clicking with them instantly,  I knew I couldn’t wait to take their engagement photos! They took me to this secluded little country road near Warrenton, VA covered in tall trees, lined by the cutest little creek, and my favorite part of the day…the tall grassy field kissed by that golden sun. It was dream location, and I’m so glad they took me there! Back when Clayton was growing up, he would come to this spot and hang out, so he knew all the best spots 🙂

Just by doing test shots testing the light, I know this session was going to be amazing, and they didn’t disappoint 🙂 With the first frames I snapped, I captured them being intimate, giving each other cute little looks, and being just the sweetest.  These two are getting married in September, and shortly after moving to Colorado so Shannon can finish school. Take me with you, Shannon! I’d LOVE to visit Colorado again!! 😉 I’m really looking forward to their September wedding, and capturing more of their cuteness. Here are a few favorites from our day!
